The house was 2 CONC originally a school, it was later torn down and a new house stands three 2 CONC now. 2 CONT In 1915, Grampa's mother died. At that time, they lived in a small house 2 CONC on the Hopkington road, on Pratt Pond. It was decided that Grampa and his 2 CONC brother George (2 years older) would live with Benjamin C. and Annie Wood 2 CONC on their farm on Wood St. in Upton (Opposite Togi's). Ben was Grampa's 2 CONC Uncle (Mary's brother). Grampa's father moved to Worcester and wasn't 2 CONC seen much after that. 2 CONT A couple of years later, Ben and Annie moved to Williams St. with Grampa 2 CONC and George. Bea Wood and her sister Lois were born there. Grampa 2 CONC graduated from Upton H.S. in 1924. He went to Wentworth Institute in 2 CONC Boston and studied forging and welding. 2 CONT Ben Wood operated portable saw mills in N.H. and Massachusetts and Grampa 2 CONC grew up in that environment. Grampa was in the Navy from about 1928-1930. 2 CONC He and George ran a sawmill for a couple of years but made no money. 2 CONC Grampa worked in the hat shop and then Drapers. 1 CHAN 2 DATE 18 NOV 2007 3 TIME 09:35:36 0 @I27436@ INDI 1 NAME James Loring /Osgood/ 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE 7 FEB 1866 2 PLAC Pembroke,Merrimack,New Hampshire 1 FAMS @F9056@ 1 FAMC @F9180@ 1 CHAN 2 DATE 18 NOV 2007 3 TIME 09:35:36 0 @I27437@ INDI 1 NAME Harriet B. /Gilbert/ 1 SEX F 1 BIRT 2 DATE JUL 1866 2 PLAC Maine 1 FAMS @F9056@ 1 FAMC @F9181@ 1 RESI 2 DATE 1920 2 PLAC Lynn Ward 5,Essex,Massachusetts 1 CHAN 2 DATE 18 NOV 2007 3 TIME 09:35:36 0 @I27438@ INDI 1 NAME Catherine /Unknown/ 1 SEX F 1 BIRT 2 DATE 1835 2 PLAC Ontario,Canada 1 FAMS @F9100@ 1 CHAN 2 DATE 18 NOV 2007 3 TIME 09:35:36 0 @I27443@ INDI 1 NAME Joseph /Geer/ 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE DEC 1848 2 PLAC Massachusetts 1 DEAT 2 DATE Aft 1910 2 PLAC Uxbridge,Worcester,Massachusetts 1 FAMS @F9129@ 1 FAMC @F9100@ 1 CHAN 2 DATE 18 NOV 2007 3 TIME 09:35:36 0 @I27444@ INDI 1 NAME Almira /Souci/ 1 SEX F 1 BIRT 2 DATE JUN 1851 2 PLAC Malone,Franklin,New York 1 DEAT 2 DATE 4 JAN 1912 2 PLAC Uxbridge,Worcester,Massachusetts 2 SOUR @S147@ 3 PAGE 1912, vol 3, page 54, #2 Uxbridge, Massachusetts 1 FAMS @F9129@ 1 FAMC @F9182@ 1 CHAN 2 DATE 18 NOV 2007 3 TIME 09:35:36 0 @I27452@ INDI 1 NAME John W. /Flooks/ 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE 1822 2 PLAC Manchester,England 1 DEAT 2 DATE 9 DEC 1885 2 PLAC Milford,Worcester,Massachusetts 1 BURI 2 PLAC N.
