John Tilson's will was dated March 13, 1729-30. The inventory of his estate dated March 20, 1729-30. His widow Joanna, and Joseph Thomas, administrators. Mrs. Joanna Tilson m. 2d William Sturtevant of Halifax, Mass., June 25, 1747. She d. Mar. 27, 1756, age 63 [gravestone]. William Sturtevant d. Aug. 28, 1753. Age 70 [gravestone]. Both are buried at Monponset cemetery, Halifax, Mass.

Joseph Dunbar, son of Robert and Rose (???) Dunbar, b. Mar. 13, 1661-2; m. Christain Garnet, b. in Hingham June 3, 1668; d. Dec. 26, 1726. He d. May 7, 1725; was a farmer; lived in South Hingham, Mass. His will proved Dec. 7, 1725, says: To daus. Joanna Tilson, Mary Cane, Deborah Ransom, Joel Whiton, and Sarah Dunbar, œ10 each; he also gave to his sons.

      Hannah Dunbar, b. Oct. 3, 1715. 
Robert Dunbar's will gives son Joseph, land; also enough apples from his orchard to make two barrels of cider.

Miss Sarah C. Alden of Belchertown, Mass., dau. of Daniel and Joanna (Tilson) Alden (who is now living, 1897,) says that her great grandmother was Joanna Dunbar.
