The truth of this aforsaid Inventory was attested on oath by Joan Tilson at the Court held at Plymouth, the fift day of March, 1661.

May 8, 1889. The foregoing is a true copy from Plymouth Colony Record of Wills. Vol. II., pages 64 and 65.

Ply. March 5, 1660-1.--Lres of administration was granted unto Joane, the wife of Edmond Tilson, late deceased, to administer upon his estate, and to pay all such debts as are owing to any.

The court has further ordered, that the said Joane Tilson her husband dying without will, and forasmuch as shoe have thirty pounds sterling out of said estate as her own proper, to her and her heires forever, and for the remainder of the said estate, that the younger children be made equall to the elder in what they have had, and for the remainder, that is done, that it be equally divided amongst all the children in equal proportions.

Plymouth March 4, 166-2.--Concerning a controversy betwixt Joan Tilson, widdow, and John Barnes, about the price of a cow by him, received in parte pay due for the land at Lakeham, the court has ordered, that John Barnes shall repay or discount the sume of twelve shillings unto said Widdow Tilson, and see the matter is ended.
