In Watson's History of Halifax, Eng., is a pedigree of the Tilstons of Huxley, which differ in some particulars from the descents of that family incorporated with the preceding pedigree on authority of Harl. M. S. S., 1535, and other Cheshire Cols. In Watson's, Thomas Tilston, 27 Henry VI., is omitted, and Hugh Tilston is said to have a younger brother, Richard, who is stated to have been ancestor of John Tillotson, archbishop of Canterbury.
