ADDED February 18, 2002. Family Files for Ralph Spooner (1737). This branch includes Spooners primarily from Canada and Illinois. There appears to be no connection to William's line, although Ralph lived in upstate New York when he (and Abigail?) first immigrated from England. (Note: Thanks to Jeanne C for prompting the research of this branch!)
ADDED February 3, 2002. "Nore's Story", the personal account of my maternal grandmother, Theresa Lenore Tillson nee Gilson (March 18, 1899 - March 15, 1976). Born in Perry, Washington, Maine, Nore was the daughter of Arthur Eugene Gilson, a second-generation American of Irish descent, and Harriet Amelia Lincoln, fifth cousin once removed of the former U.S. President. I miss her.
