IP: Logged Message: well i have heard that the name Spooner derives from the word Spohner (Spohn, Is a wooden shingler for roofs) Spohner means shingler motto " Conceal what is best" Spohn is an ancient AngloSaxon/Danish/Jute word and since the original Spooners are English and the English being AngloSaxon DanishJutes Normans yeah it makes sence.
