I found your name on the LDS website as a submitter under Elisha Porter. My husband's family is a descendant of Elisha Porter, and I have trouble finding a source verifying he is the son of Samuel Porter. Remember Makepeace, Samuel's wife, is a direct descendant of a Mayflower descendant. The court in Lebanon claims there is no record, but Familysearch.org lists a microfilm that I have just ordered. Can you help me in any way?
