Hello! My husband and I were searching around the internet and found this great site. I believe I have some historical information for you! My grandfather traced our Spooner background all the way to William Spooner. I am going to contact him, Robert Owen Spooner, and I know he will be full of stories and historical information. He is from the same generation as your featured Spooner Russell. I am of the Spooner's from Missouri and before that my Grandfather and his two brothers lived in Kentucky. I will be in touch soon.
